A Place to Wonder, Explore & Grow

The preschool years are filled with curiosity, imagination, and discovery. At GCA, children ages 3–5 explore the world, build confidence and independence, and discover the joy of learning.

Our mixed-age classroom creates a warm, close-knit community. Younger children learn by watching and working alongside older classmates, while older children naturally develop leadership, patience, and kindness.

Learning is active, hands-on, and connected to real life. Each week, children experience:

Growing in Self-Mastery

Self-mastery begins with small steps. Through GCA’s age-appropriate badge system, children recognize their own growth as they learn to care for their belongings, complete tasks independently, help others, practice kindness, and try new things.

Connected to the Whole School

Preschoolers are part of the larger GCA community. They join school-wide celebrations and activities and participate in our Reading Buddies program, where older students read, create, and spend time with our youngest learners—building friendships and a sense of belonging across ages.

A Gentle Start for Families

Starting preschool is a big milestone for children and parents alike. During a child’s first days, parents are welcome to use our Parent Transition Room—stay nearby, enjoy a cup of coffee, catch up on work, and give your child time to settle in at their own pace.
