Bring what you know.
Help young people discover what they can become.
Great education is shaped by great people. At GCA, we welcome educators, professionals, experts, community members, and others who want to share their knowledge, experience, and talents with young people.
The people children learn from should be as varied as the world they are preparing to enter.
We are always interested in exceptional educators. But meaningful learning can also come from artists, engineers, entrepreneurs, scientists, tradespeople, chefs, farmers, musicians, designers, technologists, business leaders, and people from many other walks of life.
Some opportunities may be full-time or part-time positions. Others may involve a special project, mentorship, workshop, community partnership, or a few meaningful hours with students.
There is more than one way to be part of GCA.
We look for people who are capable, curious, dependable, collaborative, and genuinely interested in helping young people grow.
Teachers & Learning Professionals
We welcome educators who know their subjects well, build strong relationships with students, and are excited by individualized, interdisciplinary, and real-world learning.
Experts, Mentors & Visiting Professionals
Have knowledge, a craft, a profession, or life experience that could expand a child's understanding of the world? We are interested in people who can bring authentic expertise into student learning.
School Operations & Administrative Support
Strong schools depend on capable people behind the scenes. Opportunities may include family communication, scheduling, student records, coordination, school operations, events, and administrative support.
Growth, Enrollment & Community Partnerships
We are interested in people who can help build relationships, develop partnerships, introduce GCA to new families, strengthen community connections, and identify opportunities for responsible growth.
Volunteers & Community Ambassadors
Parents, retirees, college students, professionals, and community members can contribute in many ways — mentoring students, supporting events, sharing a skill, leading a club or activity, reading with children, helping with projects, or connecting GCA with the broader community.
Contribution does not always require a full-time job.
Sometimes the right person joins our team as an employee. Sometimes they teach one afternoon a week, mentor a group of students, lead a short-term project, host students at their workplace, or share expertise connected to a unit of study.
We value meaningful contribution and are open to creative arrangements when there is a strong match between someone's talents and our students' learning.
Don't see your role listed?
That's okay. Some of the most valuable people in a learning community do not fit neatly into a job description. Tell us what you do, what you care about, what you are especially good at, and how you think you could contribute to GCA.
Have something meaningful to contribute?
Introduce yourself. Tell us a little about your experience, interests, and the kind of contribution you would like to make. We would be glad to explore whether there may be a fit.
Introduce Yourself →Employment opportunities are based on current school needs. Volunteer and community participation opportunities may vary throughout the year.
The GCA team is dynamic, flexible, and passionate about providing a truly unique educational experience for our students.
