At Global Connection Academy, we believe education is a dynamic, lifelong journey. Our unique philosophy is rooted in diversified learning that fosters intrinsic motivation and student autonomy. I am particularly passionate about creating prepared learning environments that support inquiry, helping students achieve a sense of order and lasting educational growth.

My career has been dedicated to administrative excellence, including serving as the Executive Director of a Montessori School and Director of a Gifted school. Most recently, my doctoral work was focused on integrating Executive Function Skills and Project-Based Learning as the bedrock for student independence.

Beyond my professional life, my greatest joy comes from my family. My husband, Nick, and I have been happily married for 29 years and are the proud parents of four children: Casey, Justin, Olivia, and my stepson, Dakota. Our family life is further enriched by our horse, Mike, our Standard Poodle, Winnie, and Charlie, our Berne-doodle.
