At Global Connection Academy, we believe childhood should be filled with curiosity, creativity, movement, discovery, and joy.

The preschool years are a remarkable time of life. Young children approach the world with endless curiosity, vivid imaginations, and an incredible eagerness to learn. Every question, every discovery, and every new experience helps shape how they see themselves and the world around them. We believe these early years deserve to be filled with wonder, encouragement, and meaningful experiences that inspire a lifelong love of learning.

Serving children ages 3–5, our mixed-age classrooms create a warm, family-like environment where younger children learn through observation while older students naturally develop confidence, leadership, and kindness by helping their classmates. This collaborative setting nurtures independence, empathy, and lasting friendships.

Each week, children participate in engaging, hands-on experiences that support their academic, social, emotional, and physical development, including:

Rather than simply teaching children what to think, we encourage them to explore, ask questions, solve problems, create, and discover. Whether they're measuring ingredients in the kitchen, building with STEM materials, exploring nature outdoors, or creating artwork, children learn best by doing.

Our preschoolers are also valued members of the broader GCA community. They regularly participate in school-wide celebrations, community events, and our cherished Reading Buddies program, where elementary students read with preschoolers each week, complete crafts together, and build meaningful friendships across grade levels.

A Gentle Start for Families

We understand that starting preschool is a significant milestone—not only for children, but for parents as well.

To help make the transition comfortable, we offer a Parent Transition Room for families during their child's first days at school. Parents are welcome to stay on campus, enjoy a cup of coffee, catch up on work, or simply relax while their child settles into the classroom. In our experience, most children quickly become engaged in the day's activities, and parents soon discover that the transition is often much easier than they imagined.

Our goal is for every child—and every family—to feel welcomed, supported, and at home from the very first day.
